Border House – Leicester City Council

Leicester City Council (LCC) has 2 hostels offering temporary emergency accommodation. The council operates a No Second Night Out policy so will endeavour to make sure that you are accommodated if you are sleeping rough for the first time. To be provided with temporary accommodation by LCC after they have made a decision on your homeless declaration you will need a local connection (unless fleeing violence).

Border House is a self catering hostel for Homeless families, couples, pregnant women (must be 16 weeks plus).

Accept same sex couples. 8 spaces are specifically for homeless single women. Must have local connection (unless fleeing violence).

Facilities include: Lounge, Laundry, Nursery & Family support service.

People who have previously been banned from the project. Those who pose a significant risk to children and vulnerable adults.
