The team offer engagement, mental health assessment and referral to mainstream NHS mental health and support services – for people age 16+ who are homeless (rough sleeping / hostels) or staying in temporary accommodation (sofa surfing etc).
The team is made up of three mental health nurses, one part-time psychiatrist, one psychologist and one part-time team secretary.
They offer a:
Daily nurse lead “drop-in” service at the Dawn Centre, Conduit street, Leicester, LE2 0JN (9-12 for self referral)
Mental health assessment
Access to mainstream mental health services.

Who Is This Service For?
Anyone age 16+ who are homeless (rough sleeping / hostels) or staying in temporary accommodation (sofa surfing etc) who need support around their mental health.

The team run a nurse led ‘drop-in’ service at the Dawn Centre, this is an ‘open door’ service to anyone who is homeless, who can self refer.
If you cannot make the drop in then speak to your GP or any other healthcare professional or anyone involved in your care who will be able to make contact with us.
