Park Lodge Project is a registered charity and was established in 1972 by local residents who wanted to provide supported housing for homeless young people. The Project provides supported accommodation for 31 homeless young people aged 16 – 25 years from any city or county. The Project provides a safe and supportive environment and aims to give young people the necessary life skills to live independently, achieve economic well-being, make a positive contribution and sustain their tenancies.
The Project is based at 2 Central Avenue. There are rooms for eleven young people who require high levels of support. In addition the Project provides accommodation in four ‘outer houses’ nearby for a total of fourteen young people. These are intended as first stage move on properties.
Park Lodge Project also has eight self contained flats that support young care leavers who require support before moving on to independent living.
Our provision consists of individual bedrooms with shared lounges, bathrooms, kitchens, laundry facilities and garden areas. The main building is staffed 24 hours per day, 365 days a year. We have an on call service and CCTV coverage.
No automatic exclusions, Applications considered on a case by case basis.

The Project takes referrals from agencies, family and young people can refer themselves. We are not a direct access provider and we operate a waiting list; however, priority will be given to those most in need at the time when a space becomes available.
