For the 2025–2027 Give Leicester campaign, we’re proud to partner with Open Hands Leicester, a Leicester-based charity dedicated to practical support and hope for individuals and families. Over the next two years, 100% of every £3 donation made through Give Leicester will go directly to Open Hands Leicester and the work they do across our city.
Your donation helps fund essentials like food parcels, toiletries, warm clothing and household items. It also supports the furniture-service arm of the charity: furnishing and equipping new properties for people recently housed after a period of homelessness. Many homes are still unfurnished or unfit for purpose, which contributes to the risk of returning to homelessness. With your support, Open Hands Leicester’s furniture service steps in by providing beds, sofas, dining tables, white-goods, wardrobes and more, helping turn a house into a home.
You’ll find Give Leicester contactless donation points across the city centre, in bars, cafés, shops, and offices. Simply tap £3 with your card or phone and know your generosity is helping people experiencing homelessness or hardship in Leicester.
